CLINIQUE SUPERPOWDER DOUBLE FACE POWDER *REVIEW*

 Like i mentioned in earlier post, boots had a summer event and one of the things I purchased was Clinique Double Face Powder (£23)  I got matched colour neutral matte which I found quite dark once I applied the powder all over my face. Luckily it's summer and I'm a bit darker than usually thanks to the heatwave we had in the UK so it's not such a big deal as it actually matches my body and my ghost like face can for once match my body colour. The powder provides a really good coverage which I was surprised with, as usually we can't expect a full coverage from a powder however this doesn't fail to cover a bit of redness or any imperfections on my face which I'm happy with. The staying power of the powder is really good too, I wore it on a work day and it stayed all day (bear in mind I work in a kitchen and my make up usually looks a mess after few hours due to the temperature in the kitchen). The only disadvantage of this powder is that it makes your face look quite powdery.

Overall I really like this powder however before buying the powder check how the shade you choose looks in natural light as it's really easy to choose wrong shade of powder. The powder has a great coverage and lasts pretty much all day. Perfect replacement for foundation during those hot summer days when we don't really want to splash loads of foundation on our face and want something lighter with a good coverage if our skin isn't perfect and let's face it hardly any of us teenagers have a flawless face without few spots and a bit of redness.

I honestly think the product deserves 6/10 as it's the best powder I ever had and definitely beats Estee Lauder double wear powder and is a little less expensive however the range of shades is really small making it really difficult to choose the right shade. I'm not sure whether I would buy the powder again simply because they don't seem to have a shade that would match me perfectly and I think I may carry on my search for the perfect powder.

BOOTS SUMMER EVENT

So yesterday we had a summer event at boots where for every £30 we spend we got £7.50 on the boots card in return, quite good isn't it? Makes being an advantage card holder really worth it as boots often rewards their loyal customers.

Obviously I couldn't miss it and even though I had to be on my way to work at 9 o'clock I went to boots as soon as it opened and grabbed myself Clinique Superpowder Double Face in matte neutral, my favourite Rimmel eye liner and eye pencil in nude.

I recently been make up shopping so I didn't really need anything else or had time to look around so just quickly grabbed these however I wish I remembered I needed a primer or something under my make up, been thinking about city block by clinique since it's getting sunny in UK so something to protect face would be really useful as I don't really like using sun cream on my face as it often cakes up make up.

Anyway hope you haven't missed the chance to earn yourself £7.50 to spend on make-up.

UNDERGROUND CREEPERS *review*

I wanted a pair of underground creepers for ages but because ordering them online without trying them on always seemed like a lot of hassle especially if I ended up having to return them. I saw this burgundy pair on sale on office website for £45  and I couldn't stop myself buying them so ordered myself a pair. I would prefer them in black however they only had burgundy which to be fair I really like, they look lovely in real life and I'm still going to buy a pair of black ones soon. I ordered a size 5 and I must say they are really true to size I find them really comfortable however first time I wore them out they cause me blisters which are really painful and now I can't wear proper shoes so I would advise you to wear thicker socks or blisters patches before they break in. Once they are broken in they are amazing to walk in however they do become quite loose so if you have a narrow feet it might be really annoying. I even ordered a size 4 to compare however it was way too small and I don't believe it would loosen up that much so I'm just going to stick with my size 5 and put an insole in.

The shoes go almost with everything so they are worth buying and they look super cute. I could literally wear them everyday especially on warmer days when I can't really wear my doc martens. They also seem like they will last forever.

Delivery was super fast I ordered the shoes on thursday and they were with me on saturday.

Okay so this post is dedicated for my inspiration, in both beauty and fashion. I'm a really fussy person when it comes to style. I love 90's the make up, fashion I just love everything about it however you will soon learn that I dress depending on a mood I'm in and what I feel like. Anyway I will start with beauty.

I have been absolutely loving dark lips lately, I have a nice small collection of dark lipsticks now that I absolutely adore, bye bye nudes!

 

This girl is absolutely gorgeous, I love her music, style and make up. Perfect everyday look and goes perfectly with dark and nude lips so you can easily transform your look and she's a lover of fake lashes too!

 

I do prefer darker eye look however so whenever I don't feel like wearing dark lips or I know I'm gonna have a busy day where I can't touch up my lips I will opt for dark smokey eyes.

 I'm not really brave enough to wear dark lips and eyes on daily basis however I do try on a nights out when looking a bit vampy is not a big issue.

Now let's move onto fashion

 These are some looks, outfit ideas I found on instagram. I absolutely love grunge, 90's fashion and these outfits are just perfect. Definitely something I would wear. I'm actually in love with the shoes from the first sceenshot. Found some in UO however they only have size six available unfortunately..

 

 This girl and her style are perfect, I've been a loyal follower for ages now and I absolutely love every single outfit she posts, she has a very unique and grungy style which I love. 

These are some looks I wouldn't actually mind wearing, I don't like the top in the last outfit however everything else seems just perfect.
